This course explores the intersection of sports and leadership, examining how athletic experiences can cultivate essential leadership skills and qualities. Students will explore the C.A.R.E. model (Connected, Authentic, Reliable, Empowering), a framework for developing practical leadership skills. Students will develop a comprehensive understanding of leadership principles and their application to sports and beyond through theoretical concepts, practical exercises, and real-world case studies.
By the end of this course, students will be well-prepared to assume leadership roles in sports, other fields, and life. They will possess the knowledge, skills, and mindset to inspire, motivate, and empower others.
